Racism and Corruption in Hollywood.

The Industry of film and Television failure's and success is a history of grave yards and spectacular visuals.

Hollywood has slept on many great adaptations but as of lately with streaming companies like Hulu and Netflix has even the playing field.

That is the conventional wisdom of belief, however, there are yet undiscovered books waiting and deserving to be put to visual.

For many years author Max Stravagar has tried to get the industry attention; to no luck. His concepts and ideas are the stuff that makes great TV or film.

Yet why isn't the industry knocking on this talented writers door?

His crime and fantasy books have made him a well rounded writer, his works have put, 'The Sopranos' and 'The Many Saints of Newark' and 'The Godfather of Harlem' to shame.

His innovation long written before many mob crime films over the past 25 plus years.

Yet he is not as celebrated as David Chase or JK Rowling's.

The industry has ignored him because it is still not a level playing field for blacks and Latinos.

Unfortunately at this conjure, there can only be one great Latino writer at a time... Lin Manual Miranda occupies that golden exclusive seat... and it does not look like he'll care to share it any time soon!

The corruption in Hollywood led to the #metoo and #TimesUp and #DivasWithPower movements.

The likes of Harvey Weinstein  and Bill Cosby are examples of corruption, but in the movement for racial quality is a lot more subtle, and there might not be a bad guy as we can point to in the pass...but the issues are real and impacts lives.

We also should not forget the mafias long standing influence, that appears to be forgotten in this day and age.

Despite the industries improvements over the years, it still has a long way to go, and sadly it is a corrupt and racist place...no matter how it is sliced and diced...no pun intended.

The Quilted Sword Reviews - Time Travel for Dummies

Time Travel for Dummies : by Max Stravagar is the best time travel book this year by far. It brings different generations together for better or worse. The premise is like none other you've seen or read about. One aspect in particular that clinches the imagination, two dummies manages to create a time machine and youth serum, and goes on to rewrite their mistakes. It is spectacularly dumb and stupid, that works magnificently. 5 STARS ***** Plus 5 *****

Perfect Woman She was a phantom of delight When first she gleam’d upon my sight; A lovely apparition, sent To be a moment’s ornament; Her eyes as stars of twilight fair; Like twilight’s, too, her dusky hair; But all things else about her drawn From Maytime and the cheerful dawn; A dancing shape, an image gay, To haunt, to startle, and waylay. I saw her upon nearer view, A Spirit, yet a Woman too! Her household motions light and free, And steps of virgin liberty; A countenance in which did meet Sweet records, promises as sweet; A creature not too bright or good For human nature’s daily food; For transient sorrows, simple wiles, Praise, blame, love, kisses, tears, and smiles. And now I see with eye serene The very pulse of the machine; A being breathing thoughtful breath, A traveller between life and death; The reason firm, the temperate will, Endurance, foresight, strength, and skill; A perfect Woman, nobly plann’d, To warm, to comfort, and command; And yet a Spirit still, and bri...
